Writing unit 8: Write about an experience

This time last year, tings weren't going too well for me. I'd failed some exams at school. I spent a lot of time in computer. The only thing that make me happy was football.
Everything changed for me the day I saw a book about climbing. The people were going to climbing. We went to LĂbia and we went to climb the Pica d'Estats, a very tall and big mountain of Catalonia. I found new friends.
These days I feel much happier. Climbing has made me feel more important.
If I hadn't read this book, I'd never had the opportunity.

Writing unit 7: Write an opinion essay

The government plans to introduce a new law which will mean that the students, will go to school on Saturday mornings in order to improve the level of education.
In the first place, In my opinion this would have positive for our education consequences but it won't be a good idea for teenagers.
It probably improve our lever in all the country.
I think that this is unfair because on Saturday, teachers should work and the state will pay you more. And now, this is not good knowing we are in crisis. Ther is an alternative method to achieve the government's aims that approved a new law.
Finally, the alternative methods about the plans to introduce school on saturday are with internet or like always, going to the school. The results shoudn't be agreed for guys.

Write about a history of a product

In May, 1886, Coca Cola was invented by Doctor John Pemberton a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia. John Pemberton concocted the Coca Cola formula in a three legged brass kettle in his backyard. The name was a suggestion given by John Pemberton's bookkeeper Frank Robinson.

Being a bookkeeper, Frank Robinson also had excellent penmanship. It was he who first scripted "Coca Cola" into the flowing letters which has become the famous logo of today. The soft drink was first sold to the public at the soda fountain in Jacob's Pharmacy in Atlanta on May 8, 1886.
Until the 1960s, both small town and big city dwellers enjoyed carbonated beverages at the local soda fountain or ice cream saloon. Often housed in the drug store, the soda fountain counter served as a meeting place for people of all ages. Often combined with lunch counters, the soda fountain declined in popularity as commercial ice cream, bottled soft drinks, and fast food restaurants became popular.

On April 23, 1985, the trade secret "New Coke" formula was released. Today, products of the Coca Cola Company are consumed at the rate of more than one billion drinks per day.

Writing unit 2: Ask for advice, in a relationship

SUBJECT: Help!!

Hi Maria
We've been on holiday here in France for a week now and I've just met this girl, Angelina. She's absolutely gorgeous, but I'm not sure how I feel about her. I need your advice.
I met her the Coffee Bar and I invited her to play tennis. Both of us ere having a real laugh and then Angelina invited me to a party with her friends. When we were there, she basically ignored me to a party with her friends. When we were there, she basically ignored me and started flirting with a boy. But when I said goodbye, she walked to the bus stop with me and neither of us could stop talking.
I've been thinking about things a lot since then. I'll probably see him later, but I'm not sure what to do...I don't know about ask for going out. She seems very different when she's with his friends. What do you reckon?
